World Walking Day is an international one-day event in May with a start and finish in central Stockholm. The course, which is 10 km, runs mainly on paths, gravel and asphalt roads in a car-free city park environment on Kungsholmen. World Walking Day is organized by Ambulator in collaboration with the Swedish Folksport Association SFF and Internationale Volksport Verband - IVV.

Thursday-Sunday May 9-12, 2024

4Dagars Stockholm is a four-day event in the month of May with a start and finish in central Stockholm, with courses from central Stockholm out into the suburbs and back. The four daily courses – which are laid out like a four-leaf clover with a common start and finish – pass through densely built-up urban environments, residential areas, industrial areas, shopping centres, parks and nature conservation areas

4 Days Stockholm in 2024 will be held for the 5th time.

Saturday-Sunday June 15-16, 2024

The Bärsärkagången is a two-day event in June, with start and finish in Ursvik in Sundbyberg, and with courses (10-50 km/day) that reach right into central Stockholm. The two daily routes pass through densely built-up urban environments, residential areas, industrial areas, parks and nature conservation areas.

The Bärsärkagån in 2024 will be held for the 36th time.

Tuesday-Friday July 16-19, 2024

4Daagse Nijmegen - or Nijmegenmarschen as it is often said in Swedish - is the world's oldest and largest four-day long-distance march, with more than 45,000 participants from all over the world. The march is located in and around the city of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. The four daily courses – which are laid out like a four-leaf clover with a common start and finish – pass through densely built-up urban environments, residential areas, industrial areas, shopping centres, parks, nature conservation areas and sparsely built-up areas.
 
4Daagse Nijmegen in 2024 will be held for the 106th time.

Saturday-Sunday August 24-25, 2024

Centum is a 24-hour event in August with start, finish and course at Södermalm in Stockholm. The track, which is approximately 11 km per lap, runs along the shore through densely built-up urban environments, residential areas, industrial areas and parks. The goal is to walk 100 km, or as many laps as possible, in 24 hours.

Centum has no pack requirement.
Centum år 2024 genomförs för 12:e gången.

Centum Decem is a 24-hour event similar to Centum with the difference that Centum Decem must be carried out with at least 10.0 kg of packing, a weight that is check-weighed every lap.

Centum Decem 2024 is being held for the 2nd time.

The Sverigevandringen is a one-day event in September with a start and finish at the Sports Museum at Gärdet and a course at Djurgården in central Stockholm. The course, which is 10 or 20 km, runs mainly on gravel and asphalt roads in a car-free city park environment.

The 2024 Sverigevandringen is organized by Ambulator in collaboration with the Swedish Athletics Federation.

Ten Islands is a one-day event in September with a start and finish outside Stockholm Central Station in Stockholm. The course, which is about 50 km, passes through densely built-up urban environments, residential areas and parks belägna på tio öar i centrala Stockholm

Ten islands in 2024 will be held for the 3rd time.
